Trade In, Trade Out, Upgrade or Sell to us! We are a fair trade company!

At Silver Knight PCs, we understand the value in your build and offer a comprehensive Trade-In and
Upgrade Program to help you get the most out of your PC components. Whether you're looking to upgrade, downgrade, or sell your parts, we've got you covered with our fair-trade practices.


Trade-In and Upgrade Options:


1. Buying New Component Up-Front:

  • Purchase the new component from us.

  • Receive the new component and send back the old one for appraisal.

  • The value of the old component will be refunded to you as in-store credit.

2. Sending Old Component First:

  • Send your old component to us for appraisal.

  • Pay the difference between the old and new components after appraisal.

  • Turnaround time is approximately one week, subject to timely shipping and prior notice.

Warranty Information:

  • Upgrades do not void any previous warranty on a build from Silver Knight PCs.

  • Each new component carries its own warranty, outlined in our warranty program

Trade-In for Cash or Store Credit:

  • All appraisals are conducted in-store, subject to an 18-hour stress test for functionality.

  • We are not responsible for any hardware failure during the stress test.

  • Parts will be appraised at used market value using sources like Amazon, Newegg, eBay, and direct pricing from manufacturers.

Rates:

  • In-store credit towards parts or upgrades: 65%-75% of used market value.

  • Cash: 55%-65% of used market value.

Additional Information:

  • In-store credit is valid for 2 years from the date of issue.

  • If the appraised price is not agreeable, the customer is responsible for return shipping.

  • No over-the-phone appraisals; estimates can be provided but are not guaranteed.

  • Bring parts in-store or ship them to us for appraisal.

  • For mail-in appraisals, include the provided form, filled out and signed.
